Learn the OLP Path to Success in 7 Days

During our comprehensive initial training program, you’ll learn all about our proprietary systems and how to use them to advance your business and crush your goals. By Day 7, you’ll be off to the races, equipped with industry-leading tools and marketing support.

Here’s an outline of our 7-day training program:

Day One

Meet our Digital Marketing Manager and Brand Marketing Consult. They’ll cover the ins and outs of effectively marketing your OLP franchise using our proven system. This will include:

  • Marketing and lead-gen strategies and tactics

  • National Marketing Fund

  • Marketing plan development and implementation

Day Two

Meet our Technology and Finance Team to get an in-depth understanding of our:

  • Technology platform, including our intranet and client relationship management tool

  • Best-practices and chart of accounts

Days Three & Four

Meet our Director of Field Operations. This is where you’ll learn the logistics of operating your OLP location. Topics include:

  • Lighting design techniques and product application

  • Advanced design techniques

  • Nighttime demonstration

  • Introduction to C.O.L.T. (Certified Outdoor Lighting Technician)

  • The Lighting Boss design software

  • Filed installation

  • Field service and maintenance

Day Six

Meet again with members of our marketing and operations teams to learn more about the benefits of being in the Empower Brands network, including:

  • Building trade alliances

  • Reputation software

  • Vendor review

  • CRM recap and review

Day Seven

You’re almost there! On your final day of training, we’ll review key areas, including:

  • Goal setting and support

  • Marketing

  • Technology

  • Sales

  • Product and design

ONGOING SUPPORT

Our training doesn’t stop after day seven. Helping you every step of the way is our Onboarding Coordinator, who guides you throughout your entire launch process. You’ll have ongoing support from our operations and marketing teams, plus structured field visits from OLP mentors. You’ll also have access to online resources for best practices and marketing materials. And because we believe that you should never stop learning, we offer unique classes and annual meetings to take our franchisees to the next level, including a festive holiday lighting class.
